The department of urban engineering sets its educational goal as training students to accumulate collective and systematic knowledge in the fields of social sciences and engineering, and prepare themselves for professional qualifications required for solving above-mentioned city problems and contributing to the development of cities and communities.   Career Prospect with Graduation::::::::::::::::::::::::: ¡ñ Work as urban planning specialists with obtaining pertinent qualification certificates of urban planning engineer, traffic engineer, land surveying engineer, appraiser, construction engineer, urban engineer, landscape architect, and so on. ¡ñ Work as public employees of the central and local governments in the parts of city planning or traffic management. ¡ñ Employed at the Korea Housing Corporation, the Korea Land Corporation, the Korea Land Registration Corporation, the Korea Urban Development Corporation, and the Korea Appraisal Board. ¡ñ Employed at urban engineering service agencies, construction companies, real estate consulting agencies, security corporations, and insurance companies.
